2. Hosting

This website is hosted by Synaps Media, a trade name of Triofan, Vonderveld 50, 5583GX Waalre, the Netherlands.

Synaps Media collects anonymous visitor statistics for the websites it hosts, including page views, referral sources, and basic browser details, in order to provide website owners with insights into the performance and usage of their websites. IP addresses collected for these statistics are anonymized by removing the last octet before storage.

In its role as my hosting provider, Synaps Media acts as a data processor with respect to personal data collected through this website (such as visitor statistics described above), under the terms of its Data Processing Agreement. As the operator of this website, I am the data controller for that data.

This data is processed solely to operate and maintain the hosting service and to provide insight into website performance, and is not combined with other data sources beyond what is described in this policy. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure, functional, and measurable website).

Important:

  • This data is never shared with third parties.
  • Unique visitors are counted only within 24-hour windows; no cross-session recognition takes place.

Since no cookies or comparable technologies within the meaning of § 25 TTDSG (German Telecommunications-Telemedia Data Protection Act) are used, no consent is required for this analysis. The legal basis for this anonymized, aggregated evaluation is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in analyzing the use of this content in order to improve it).

4. Fonts (Bunny Fonts)

This website uses the font JetBrains Mono, served via Bunny Fonts (fonts.bunny.net).

Bunny Fonts is a privacy-focused service built specifically as an alternative to Google Fonts. According to the provider, no personal data is transmitted to third parties such as Google, no cookies are set, and no IP addresses are logged or stored. Bunny Fonts' servers are located within the European Union.

Since no personal data is transferred to third parties outside the EU and no tracking takes place, no separate consent is required for the use of this font.

5. No Collection of Further Personal Data

This website currently does not process any further personal data. In particular:

  • There is no comment function.
  • There is no newsletter or membership function.
  • No data-entry forms are offered.
  • No third-party tracking (e.g. advertising networks, social media plugins) takes place.
